All aboard for new bus stations
Keighley bus station
Keighley is one of West Yorkshire's new bus stations
Better facilities for bus users are being planned for two towns in West Yorkshire.

Metro, which is in charge of public transport in the county, wants to redevelop the bus stations in Batley and Cleckheaton.

The public is to be asked to put their views on how the stations could be improved.

New bus stations have recently been opened in Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley and Wakefield.

Susan May, from Metro said: "We are determined that people in Cleckheaton and Batley should have public transport facilities of the same high standards.

"At these consultation meetings we want people to let us know their views on the development of the bus stations so we can improve on our designs."

The new developments will be a joint project with the Arriva bus company.
