A fire crew freed the boy from under the wall
An eight-year-old boy has died after becoming trapped under a collapsed garden wall in Bristol.

Firefighters were called to Broomhill Road, Brislington, on Saturday evening after the breeze-block wall collapsed.

They freed the boy and he was taken to hospital by ambulance.

But he died later from his injuries.

Police and health and safety inpectors are now trying to find out why the wall collapsed.
