Football legend Sir Bobby Moore's Fulham shirt, worn in his last English league match, is being sold at auction.

The number six shirt, worn by Moore in 1977, is among soccer memorabilia going under the hammer at Christie's in London.

It is expected to fetch between 3,000 and 5,000 at the sale on September 24.

Moore's gold medal from England's 1996 World Cup victory over Germany was bought by his former team West Ham United in 2000.

Other items for sale include the Coppa Italia which is described as one of the most significant pieces of Italian football memorabilia.

It was won in 1943 by the legendary Torino side known as "Il Grande Torino" who died six years later in a plane crash.

Christie's expect the trophy to be sold for about 35,000 to 45,000.

The shirt of former Chelsea star Peter Osgood - worn during the 1972 European Cup Winners Cup Final - is expected to sell for up to 5,000.

Also in the sale is a match programme from England's first international against Italy, played in 1933, which could reach as much as 7,000.

Moore, who died of cancer in 1993, joined West Ham in 1958 and made a record 642 League and Cup appearances for the team, playing 1,000 matches before joining Fulham in 1974.
