Police seize 14m heroin haul
Heroin
The 70-kilo haul is one of the biggest this year
Three men were being questioned by police after heroin with a street value of 14m was seized in a lay-by.

Officers from the National Crime Squad (NCS) raided three cars parked near Borough Green, Kent, on Saturday.

Two men were arrested as they transferred about 70 kilos of heroin into the boot of a car occupied by the third man.

All three were being detained at police stations in Kent on suspicion of serious offences against the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A spokesman for the NCS said: "We believe our operation has foiled a conspiracy to distribute heroin - a major source of street crime and misery - throughout the south-east of England.

"In terms of seizures of heroin, this in one of the biggest so far this year."
