GP faces indecency charges
New Scotland Yard
Dr Healy was arrested as he arrived home from holiday
A doctor has been charged with sexually assaulting teenage boys after sedating them in his London surgery.

Dr Timothy Healy, 56, of no fixed address, faces 21 charges of indecency.

In a hearing at Bow Street Magistrates Court on Wednesday he was remanded to Charing Cross Police Station for further questioning.

He is due to appear again at the court in London on Thursday.

Dr Healy is charged with 10 counts of administering a stupefying drug with intent to enable him to commit indecent assault, between 1982 and 1986.

He also faces two charges of indecent assault on a boy under 14 and two charges of indecent assault on a boy under 16 between 1980 and 1988.

He is charged with six counts of taking indecent photographs of a child under 16 and is further accused of possessing an indecent photograph of a child.

The doctor was arrested on Tuesday and remanded in custody following a 10-month investigation by Scotland Yard's paedophile unit.
