Injured man arrested over shooting
Police at scene, PA
Police carried out a search of the area
One of the people injured in a triple-shooting in Chippenham has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Kashmira Singh was placed under police guard at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, where he has been receiving treatment for severe gunshot wounds.

His brother Sawa Singh, 51, was shot dead in the incident at the family home on Monday morning.

The arrested man's wife, Dialo Kaur Singh, 38, was in a critical condition at Bath's Royal United Hospital with gunshot wounds.

Large family

Wiltshire Police were called to the house at about 0530 GMT on Monday after reports that a man had been shot. They discovered three people with shotgun injuries.

Police said that they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the shootings.

Twelve members of the same family lived in the terraced house in the Causeway, Chippenham - including five children.

Nearby shop owner Amelia Hanratty said: "We're shocked and surprised - they're a very friendly family."
