All NHS students are included.

All Open University students are included under England.

Due to a central processing error approximately 6,500 Open University students were inadvertently omitted from the target population for the 2009 National Student Survey. This error has meant that the views of these students on their experience at the Open University are not reflected in the published results.

If institution is not listed, either it did not take part or its results were below the 50% response rate (or fewer than 23 students).

The word "university" has been left out of most institution names except where deemed integral.
