Low participation neighbourhoods

This table shows the percentage of young full-time first degree entrants each institution recruited in 2007-08 from neighbourhoods with a low university participation rate.

The second figure is the "benchmark" rate set by the funding council - using a methodology contested by some.

The "Sig.?" column shows whether the indicator was better (+) or worse (-) than the benchmark by an amount statisticians regard as significant.
