A total of 16% of students questioned said not having enough sexual partners was a major problem.

And only 9% said having a boyfriend or girlfriend would help solve the problem.

For the survey, conducted by the National Union of Students, Oxford University undergraduates were asked about the problems they faced, and how they proposed solving them.

Exam fears

Lack of money proved to be a serious problem, with 60% of the 438 students questioned saying a serious lack of cash cramped their style.

Just over a third said they were worried about getting unfit, while almost a quarter were concerned about not having time to do everything in their social calendar, and 17% said they worried about how much they drank.

The survey shows students worry about work as well

The prospect of taking an exam worried 58% of the students, while 46% were worried about struggling with coursework.

The survey, commissioned by Talking Pages, shows that 91% of the students questioned believed winning the National Lottery would make life easier.

Problems could also be solved by living rent-free, according to 71%, while 42% said finding out answers to exam questions would help relieve their stress.

A different view was taken by 1% of those questioned, who said having plastic surgery would solve some of their problems.
