Security tight for Yates funeral
Paula Yates
Paula Yates: The cause of her death is yet to be established
The funeral of former TV presenter Paula Yates is to be held on Saturday.

The service will take place at the Church of Mary Magdalene in Davington, Kent. It is close to the country mansion she once shared with her former husband Bob Geldof.

Police have said they intend to maintain tight security around the church and expect large crowds to gather outside.

Yates, 41, was found dead at her home in Notting Hill, west London, on Sunday.

An inquest in to her death was opened and adjourned until 8 November at Westminster Coroner's Court in London earlier this week.

More tests are being carried out following a post mortem examination to establish the cause of her death.

Mother

Among those expected to attend the weekend funeral are the dozens of celebrity friends Yates made during her high-profile life and career.

Yates shot to fame in the 1980s as co-presenter of the Channel 4 music show The Tube.

She also helped the same channel launch The Big Breakfast in 1992.

Yates had four daughters from her relationships with Geldof and the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.

Four-year-old Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily, Yates' daughter with Hutchence, is being cared for by Geldof.

Geldof maintained custody of the three other girls - Fifi Trixibelle, now 17, Peaches, 11, and Pixie, 10 - when his marriage with Yates ended in divorce in 1996.
