Fleet marks Dunkirk anniversary

A flotilla of small boats has sailed across the English Channel to mark the 70th anniversary of Operation Dynamo -the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of Allied soldiers from Dunkirk.

Winston Churchill called the rescue of British, French and Belgian forces a 'miracle of deliverance'. Many of the vessels which took part in 1940 also featured in the commemorations.

Jon Kay reports.
