Gordon Brown: 'No bribes' for terrorists


UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said that the only condition where the coalition in Afghanistan will engage with terrorists is "if they give up terrorist activities" and agree to become "citizens".

In an interview with the BBC's John Simpson, the prime minister also said the British forces will only go home when the Afghan forces are able to take control themselves.
