Sergeant describes 'distressing' Edlington crime scene

Two young brothers who brutally attacked two boys in Edlington, South Yorkshire have been detained indefinitely.

The brothers, aged 10 and 11 at the time, who admitted causing grievous bodily harm, were told they would serve a minimum five years.

Sergeant Richard Vernon of South Yorkshire Police told the BBC's Danny Savage about the scene he arrived at when a member of the public found one of the beaten boys and how he has stayed in touch with him.
