England's orchards get three new apple varieties

Three new English apple varieties have been developed abroad to help secure the future for England's growers.

The traditional apple availability season ends in January, but the Cameo, Kanzi and Jazz variety can be stored until the end of May.

Growers think this move could help an industry that has been struggling to compete with foreign imports.
