More snow predicted as big freeze continues

Heavy snow is forecast for much of the UK as freezing weather continues in the country's worst winter for almost 15 years.

The National Grid has issued an alert over the UK's gas supplies, saying it has had to bring in extra fuel from Norway.

Supplies of grit are under pressure and already icy roads are making conditions treacherous.
