Two people have died, and almost 50 have been injured after a bus skidded off the road in Cornwall.

The vehicle rolled on to its side on a country road at Godolphin Bridge near Penzance.

Some passengers were airlifted to hospital as icy conditions hampered the rescue effort.

Supt Martin Orpe said the cause of the crash was being investigated.
