Tornado, the first brand new steam locomotive to be built in Britain for 50 years, has just completed its first full year of operations.

The engine's last task of 2009 was to haul "The Cathedrals Express" Christmas dinner special on a circular tour of Kent from London Victoria on Monday night.

Howard Benson, from BBC Radio 5 live's Up All Night programme, was on board to review Tornado's first 12 months.

Up All Night can be heard from 0100-0500 GMT every weekday, and Howard's full report will be broadcast on Thursday, 24 December.
