Quadriplegic sailor Geoff Holt on sailing the Atlantic

Two years after he became the first disabled person to sail solo around Britain, quadriplegic Geoff Holt is setting off across the Atlantic.

He is sailing solo, but needs personal help on board his specially adapted catamaran as the challenge will take more than three weeks.

Speaking before his departure from Lanzarote, Geoff explained what had driven him to set sail again.
