Gordon Brown announces Afghan conference for London

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has announced that London will host a conference attended by Hamid Karzai at the end of January to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.

He made the remarks at the Commonwealth leaders' summit in Trinidad and Tobago.
