MoD 'supports' Iraq abuse inquiry

The Ministry of Defence has pledged its "full support" to a public inquiry into allegations that British soldiers killed and abused Iraqi civilians in their custody.

The bodies of 20 Iraqis were handed over to their families the day after a major gun battle in 2004.
