MoD bonuses attacked by families

The bonuses paid to civil servants, at the Ministry of Defence, have been angrily criticised by some families of soldiers killed in Afghanistan.

The annual performance-related bonuses, have totalled £47m this year. The MoD says the vast majority of the awards were part of previously agreed pay deals.
