RAF medical care in the skies

The Festival of Remembrance paid tribute to the work of the Critical Care Air Support Team (C-Cast), who bring back the most seriously injured from Afghanistan for treatment in the UK.

The C-Cast team fly from Brize Norton and a team is always on standby.

A BBC team followed them to learn about their work.

The two injured soldiers featured in this video are Christopher Gwilt, who went on to attend his medal parade with 2 Rifles in Northern Ireland, and Sergeant Chris Church, who is now back with his unit, attached to the Light Dragoons.
