Enthusiasts say it is like trying to ride a BMX or motocross bike on water. Freestyle jet-skiing will shatter any illusions you have got about jet-skis just being water craft you rather lazily sit on, for a ride around the harbour.

It is extreme and requires immense balance and skill. Jack Moule is the current British freestyle jet-ski champion and is only 15 years old. His mother, Suzan says his passion takes up most of their spare time.

Mike Bushell took to the water at Oxfordshire's Nitrojet centre - under Jack's expert guidance.
