More of the most severely injured British soldiers in Afghanistan are being saved than ever before, thanks to improvements in front-line medical care.
At Camp Bastion field hospital in Helmand, British medical staff including military, reservists and civilians from the NHS, work around the clock to save lives.
More than 60% of wounded British soldiers treated at the field hospital are able to return to the frontline in Helmand.
