'Legal high' drugs will be banned

The government has confirmed it will ban a range of drugs that had been promoted as giving people a "legal high".

The Home Office has announced the herbal mix Spice, the ecstasy substitute BZP and the industrial chemical GBL, will all become illegal by the end of the year.

But critics have warned that other drugs are being developed to sidestep the new law.
