Mourners will be attending the funeral at Wells Cathedral of World War One veteran Harry Patch, who died on 25 July 2009.

Mr Patch was born in 1898 and fought in the trenches during the Battle of Passchendaele in 1917.

Jim Ross was a close friend who visited Patch regularly over many years. Here he tells the BBC's Jon Kay about the plans for the funeral, and why Mr Patch was such a remarkable man.
