Iraq war enquiry to be launched

Tony Blair and Gordon Brown could be called to give evidence to the long-awaited inquiry into the Iraq war, which begins on Thursday.

The man chairing it, Sir John Chilcot, will outline exactly how it will be conducted, and has already said he wants as much of it as possible to be held in public.

179 British service personnel were killed in Iraq between 2003 and 2009.

Carole Walker reports.
