Scotland celebrates parade of the clans


The largest gathering of Scottish clans for more than 200 years has been taking place in Edinburgh.

It was the centrepiece of the year of Homecoming celebrations, to mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of national bard, Robert Burns.

Thousands of people of Scottish descent from all over the world have taken part.
