CCTV of Gerrard incident released

Footage of Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard with friends in a Southport bar has been released.

The CCTV begins with footage of Mr Gerrard with his friends, in the next shot he talks to people behind the bar. The next section of footage shows an altercation at the top of the picture and people being led away. In the final frames a group of people including Mr Gerrard leave the bar.

Mr Gerrard and six other men are on trial in connection with a fight at the bar.

John Doran, 29, Ian Gerrard Smith, 19, and Paul McGrattan, 31, from Huyton, admit affray.

Accrington Stanley footballers Robert Grant, 19, and Ian Dunbavin, 28 from Southport, have also admitted affray.

John McGrattan, 34, from Huyton, has admitted threatening behaviour after denying affray. Mr Gerrard denies affray.
