Gerrard arrives at court

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has arrived at Liverpool Crown Court where he is due to stand trial in connection with a fight at a Merseyside nightclub in 2008.

The 29-year-old, who is charged with six others, denies a charge of affray relating to the incident at Southport's Lounge Inn, where a 34-year-old businessman was injured on 29 December.
