'Sabbath' sailing to go ahead

The controversial first Sunday ferry sailing from Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides to mainland Scotland will go ahead as planned, operators Caledonian MacBrayne have said.

Opponents have described it as an attack on the culture, heritage and way of life in Lewis, where the Sabbath is strictly observed, but many believe it will be a great benefit to the islands.
