'Extremist media central to case'

A student has been sentenced to at least 10 years in prison after being convicted of making explosives with intent and preparing terrorist acts in April 2008.

Moira Macmillan of the Crown Prosecution Service said the court heard how Andrew Isa Ibrahim "spent many hours watching and rewatching material on the internet", including videos of suicide bombers and learning how to make bombs.
