More children abducted by parents


The number of children abducted by one of their own parents is rising.

Around 700 children were taken in or out of Britain last year, without the consent of the other parent, and campaigners believe hundreds of other cases go unreported.

More international marriages and greater freedom to travel are thought to be behind the increase. Yvonne Murray reports.
