'How I was stolen from my father'

Official figures show that more than 700 children are taken in or out of Britain each year, without the consent of the other parent. Campaigners believe hundreds more cases go unreported.

BBC reporter Yvonne Murray spoke to "Donal O'Tighe", a man who was taken by his mother from America to Scotland when he was 11 years old.

We have disguised his identity as he does not want people in his daily life to know what happened to him.
