Thousands stood to honour soldiers

A BBC camera trailed the funeral cortege of eight servicemen whose bodies were brought back from Afghanistan today.

Crowds gathered along almost the entire length of the route taken by the funeral cortege from Wootton Bassett to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The roadside was thick with people as members of the public, soldiers and veterans gathered - some saluting and standing to attention as the cars passed by.
