Soldiers' bodies repatriated

The bodies of eight British soldiers killed in a single 24-hour period in Afghanistan have been flown home to the UK.

The body of Cpl Lee Scott, of 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, who died in an explosion on Friday was the first of the eight soldiers to be carried onto British soil.

Thousands then lined the streets of Wootton Bassett to pay tribute as the coffins passed through.

The BBC's Robert Hall describes the proceedings at RAF Lyneham.
