Tourists trapped on the upper floors had to be rescued by firefighters
Seven Britons have been injured in a hotel fire in Turkey.
The Britons and one Turkish national are thought to have been hurt by broken glass as they were leaving the hotel in the southern resort of Marmaris.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said the injured people had been taken to hospital but no-one was thought to have been seriously hurt.
Local reports suggest the fire was started when a boiler in the hotel sauna exploded.
The Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We have received reports that seven British nationals were injured as a result of a fire at a hotel in Marmaris, Turkey.
"We understand that those involved were taken to hospital for treatment and some have been discharged.
"We do not yet know the extent of the injuries of those remaining in hospital, though we have been advised that no-one is in a serious condition.
"Consular staff from the British Consulate in Marmaris have travelled to the hotel to meet with the British nationals involved to provide consular assistance."
