Hopes fade for missing swimmers

A search and rescue operation involving 50 people, an RAF helicopter and several lifeboats has failed to find two men who got into difficulty during an evening swim in Weston-super-Mare on Tuesday.

The girlfriend of one of the men says she has not given up hope but the coastguard say all chances of surviving in the water have passed.
