PM outlines 'Digital Britain' report

Gordon Brown says that having the internet is as vital as having a water supply - and has promised that every home could have the option of broadband in three years.

He set out his ideas in The Times newspaper ahead of the publication of Digital Britain - a government report on the future of broadcasting and the internet.

The BBC's Industry Correspondent, Rory Cellan-Jones, reports.
