Bill aims to cut child poverty

Efforts to wipe out child poverty in the UK are going to be enshrined in law, under new plans from the government.

A bill published later will make it a duty to support families so that child poverty is eradicated by 2020, the goal set by Tony Blair.

Chris Buckler reports.
