I will not walk away, says Brown

Gordon Brown has said he will stay on as prime minister following his Cabinet reshuffle.

In a Downing Street press conference, he admitted Thursday's elections were a "painful defeat" but said he would not "walk away".

Mr Brown delivered a statement then took several questions from a packed room of journalists.
