Concerns over childcare vouchers

Businesses are being advised to withdraw from the government's childcare vouchers scheme, meaning working parents could lose out on hundreds of pounds worth of tax breaks.

The recommendation from the Chamber of Commerce follows an EU ruling last October that says employers may be liable to keep up payments even when employees are on unpaid maternity leave.
