Labour's leader of the House of Lords, Baroness Royall, tells peers that misconduct charges against two Labour members are "damaging to politics".
Ex-trade minister Lord Truscott and Lord Taylor of Blackburn face suspension from Parliament for six months after being found guilty of misconduct.
They were accused by the Sunday Times of being willing to change laws in exchange for cash.
