A soldier who lost the use of both his legs in Iraq has finished the London Marathon, almost two weeks after he crossed the starting line.

Major Phil Packer was told he would never walk again, but walked the 26-mile course on crutches a few miles a day.

He hopes to raise £1m for Help For Heroes, the charity for injured service personnel.
