A soldier from the Midlands is keeping regulars in his home town pub up to date with army life in Afghanistan through a series of blogs.

Colour Sergeant Michael Saunders is serving with the Mercian Regiment in Helmand province. His reports are being pinned up in a bar where his sister, Tracey Tyrls, works in Worcester.

Bob Walker went to meet the locals to find out what they make of it all.
