Plans for minimum alcohol price

Minimum prices should be imposed on alcohol to curb binge-drinking, the government's top medical adviser is expected to announce.

Professor Sir Liam Donaldson is publishing a report on Monday calling for a ban on drinks being sold for less than 50p per alcoholic unit.
