The Prince's photo album
Prince William may be one of the more camera-shy members of the Royal Family, but, as these pictures released by the Palace for the prince's 18th birthday show, the camera clearly loves him.

A modern prince: William gets online for his studies.

William is captured in pensive mood in a photograph taken in the prefects common room at Dr Gaileys called the Library.

A more formal pose shows William in Eton's distinctive school dress of black tail coat together with the stick ups - the stiff wing collar and white tie - worn by all school officers

William flies the flag with a touch of Royal chic. As one of Eton's elect prefects he is allowed to choose his own waistcoat.

William is captured in black and white, chatting with classmates.

A keen sportsman, William plays waterpolo - one of his favourite sports - twice a week

The Prince is also a dab hand in the kitchen
