Tycoon Sir Richard Branson has been speaking about the economy, job losses, motor car racing and the reactions to the latest Virgin advertising campaign.

Speaking to the BBC's Charlie Stayt and Sonia Deol, Branson defended government backing of banks but said there should be no more hand-outs for other industries such as the car industry.

Sir Branson hinted that he is in negotiations to take over the Honda Formula One team but he would not confirm it.
