Prince Harry has apologised for using offensive language to describe a member of his army platoon.

The News of the World said it had a video of the army lieutenant calling a colleague a "Paki" while they were waiting to board a flight.

In a separate incident, Prince Harry is also heard joking that another colleague who had a cloth over his head looked like a "rag head".

BBC Royal Correspondent Peter Hunt describes the content of the video.
