Intern plan for jobseeking graduates

Students who are unable to secure jobs after leaving university may be offered paid internships for three months.

Four top firms, including Barclays and Microsoft, will take on some of this year's 300,000 graduates to help them get jobs.

Higher Education Minister David Lammy explained how the initiative might work.
